The Language Barrier Hispanics are the largest minority group in the US. There are currently 50 million documented Hispanics living in America and research tells us that half of Hispanics (or about 25 million) do not speak English well.
Additionally, “Over 400,000 documented Latino immigrants enter the US every year. This is the highest flow of Spanish-speaking immigrants in the history of the U.S. Most of these immigrants are filling low-skilled, blue-collared jobs.” Pew Hispanic Center
This large and growing number of Hispanics, who do not speak English well, is causing problems in the workplace, in our schools and neighborhoods: accidents, poor customer service, low productivity, poor use of company resources (employees who can’t communicate well), low student test scores, miscommunications in the community, etc. The Language Solution The nation needs an immediate, effective and affordable solution to alleviate these language barriers. Many language learning options currently available are costly and time consuming and learners may never learn the vocabulary needed for their particular industry or life situation. KAMMS’ programs allow learners to immediately improve communication by providing the most commonly encountered short and simple phrases in easy to learn formats, specifically designed for their job or life circumstances.
Learners can listen to an audio program on a CD or a preloaded MP3 player, watch a video, take an e-learning course, a skills training course and take advantage of our tutoring study sessions. Programs are designed to be used for self-paced learning or as the basis of instructor-led learning.

The program includes a portable audio/visual learning system, corresponding workbooks, pocket guides, pre and post assessments and weekly tutoring done conveniently by telephone.
